ABOUT COQUINA SANDS NAPLES 

The neighborhood was first established in 1954. It was also the first Naples waterfront community to offer condos/co-op on Naples beach with the Bahama Club in 1956. The most recently completed condominium project in the area is Naples Casamore in 2011.

Coquina Sands

Coquina Sands is bordered by its neighboring sister community Moorings and begins from US 41 and Mooring Line Drive turning into Gulf Shore Blvd south to S Golf Drive or 8 Ave North. The area is also home to the landmark Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club and residents can walk to the historic downtown area where there are charming cafes, restaurants, art and shopping.

The mature neighborhood offers larger lot sizes with a mix or newer and older single-family homes surrounded by mature trees. Much of the vegetation enclosing many properties also offer privacy. Typical Florida condos of traditional design as well as coastal chic properties that have experienced a surge in redevelopment since 2000 are found throughout this neighborhood.

In addition to beach combing, residents enjoy walking or biking to the nearby Lowdermilk Park and many boat owners are within minutes to their slips. The nearby popular beach park features restroom facilities, picnic areas, gazebos, volleyball courts and a children's playground area.

Coquina Sands real estate offers homes in a variety of architectural styles and age. Over the past decade, there has been much redevelopment and new construction homes can be up to 9,000 square feet with a large majority featuring between 3,000 to 5,000 square feet.

The area is also home to many beautiful and highly sought after condos completed between 1956 and 2005. 


There are very few lots for sale in this established and prime coastal location. Buyers mostly purchase new homes and many older ones are acquired with the intent to redevelop. Homes overlooking Hurricane Harbor or Doctor's Pass offer superb waterfront vistas as well as direct Gulf access. Others may overlook the Naples Beach championship golf course, or landscaping with mature vegetation.
