ABOUT PARK SHORE

The area is also home to the annual boat parade. There is a limited supply of vacant land and buyers who are looking for new homes will find an exquisitely appointed selection offering private Park Shore beach access.

What makes the waterfront community of Park Shore so desirable is its fantastic layout and history. Most towers are encircled by wonderful community parks, with an innovative and proactive commitment to creating a tropical paradise along the Florida Gulf. In addition, homes and condos are centrally located, offering you nearby conveniences such as shopping, dining and hospitals. Villas also offer maintenance-free lifestyle, some of which have incredible and wide waterfront vistas.

There are fifteen beach paths beginning at the condo community of Meridian down to Horizon House. The beach walk way is marked every 10th of a mile. Depending on where you enter the beach walk and the respective circular walks, you can walk a total of five miles.

There are very select few vacant lots available for sale, some of which can be prime waterfront parcels. However, the majority of the buyers purchase either an older home with the intent to rebuild or they focus on homes with a great waterfront presence.

HISTORY OF PARK SHORE

Raymond L. Lutgert purchased 760 acres of an undeveloped Park Shore in 1964. The initial stages of the planned unit development (PUD) of the land created a benchmark and unprecedented layout in the State of Florida and Collier County with an underground utility and storm water system that served as a model for many other developments to come. This layout based on sound environmental factors, also included a natural dune system around which the Park Shore community was built. The serpentine design incorporated almost 30 land plots around 5 beachside parks and 4 open common areas.

For thirteen years from 1970 through the early 80s, today's Lutgert Companies in Naples built Colony Gardens (the first Condominium building), Horizon House (tallest and most luxurious development) and Venetian Villas (villas built over the water in the Mediterranean-style design) which introduced an array of combinations including mid and high-rise buildings inclusive of private boat docks on the Bay.

In 1988 and 1990 respectively, beautiful Village on Venetian Bay, with a Venetian-style appearance and a waterfront atmosphere that included shopping, art galleries and waterfront dining was exposed. In 1990 and 1991, other residential buildings were erected, such asThe Vistas (spectacular water views), Le Parc and the Enclave (introduction of the first building that gave rise to the concept of one single residence on each floor). 1994 through 1995 witnessed the addition of several other residential high-rise condominiums, including Park Tower, Venetian Tower and Le Rivage. Today's newest high-rise in the area is Aria at Park Shore, built in 2006. Park Shore offers an array of beautiful Naples waterfront properties.
