PORT ROYAL HOMES

Residents are within a short bike ride or drive to the Naples downtown areas of 5th Ave S and Third Street S. There are many private waterfront homes, some of which are directly on the beach. Often, clients who are interested in Port Royal real estate purchase older homes for redevelopment, as many are located on prime waterfront lots. These lots are often no more than one acre in size, and pricing for homes and lots vary depending on beachfront, bayfront or lakefront location.

Gordon Drive marks the main address associated with this community, which originates in Olde Naples as an extension of 2nd Street S. and runs south of Broad Avenue S. Gordon Drive also runs through Aqualane Shores, Fairlington, Olde Naples, Palmer Estates, Gulf View Estates, Ocean View, Beach Estates, Betart Estates and Port Royal.

On South Gordon Drive, you will find a small street with properties on Cove Lane. Cove Lane has only four homes fronting the beautiful waterfront of Cutlass Cove for deep water and bridge-free Gulf access just off Gordon Pass. The private Cutlass Cove beach club access is within walking distance. Cove Lane|Cutlass Cove also features a covered boat house at the end of Gordon Drive. From here you are within seconds to Gordon Pass and the Florida Gulf. Covered slips feature electric, water, boat lifts and retractable doors for added security.

To the north of Cove Lane two private roads lead to Cutlass Lane and Sabre Cay. Sabre Cay is a distinctive neighborhood of only fifteen homes located on Doubloon Bay also offering private deeded beach access with daily sightings of dolphins, eagles, manatees and other wildlife. Cutlass Lane features luxury homes located on the Cutlass Cove waterway and a private beach entrance through the Cutlass Cove beach club. Homes overlook the expansive sparkling waters of Doubloon and Admiralty Bays. Residents have fast Gulf access through Gordon Pass leading to the outback of the 10,000 islands.

Beach Estates consists of homes on navigable Champney Bay and the Florida Gulf front. Champney Bay features beautiful waterfront and non-waterfront estate homes with deeded private beach access on larger lots. Kings Town Drive begins next to the Port Royal Club tennis courts leading to Green Dolphin LaneFort Charles DriveGin LaneRum RowNelsons Walk and Admiralty Parade. All homes south of Kings Town Drive feature solely waterfront sites with dramatic bay and waterway views from the rear. Residents have docks on deep waterways with vessels up to 100 feet in length. The Port Royal Club is directly across of Kings Town Drive. Homes on Lantern Lane do not have boat docks as they are located on Lantern Lake.

Slightly further north, you will find the beautiful street of Galleon Drive. Bayfront estate homes overlook Galleon Cove, Runaway Bay, Buccaneer's Bay and Naples Bay on one of the most picturesque streets in Port Royal and home to the original Trinity by the Cove Episcopal Church. Spyglass Lane and Treasure Lane run off Galleon Drive and also feature waterfront homes on coves and bays.

Port Royal real estate continues to hold its value since home prices have been on the rise year over year. Lots and residences provide fantastic wide water views, while many also offer private docking for larger boats. Most residences are located on the beachfront or waterfront, with some facing deep water canals that offer no bridges for navigation of larger boats. Yachts and sailboats ranging in size of over 80 feet are able to harbor in these waterways. Treasure Cove, Galleon Cove, Man-O-War Cove and Champney Bay give access to the Gulf via Naples Bay through Gordon Pass, and they are the widest water bodies in Port Royal.

Exclusive Port Royal Club membership is for residents only. This private club provides you with fine dining, swimming, tennis, fitness, massage and spa treatments and is open from mid August through July, closing for one month. Resident membership to the club is immediate, while associate memberships face a waiting list due to a membership limit.
